The much anticipated Golf Friendly May Monthly Medal took place at Orchid Country Club on Tuesday, 12 May with a turnout of 68 participants. Played in a strokeplay format, the afternoon game proceeded smoothly amidst the fine weather and was followed by a sumptuous buffet and prize presentation.
Participating for the first time, Louis F Miller Jr was elated as he emerged Best Gross winner of Division A with a score of 76. Another member, Nauman Amjad Ubaid was all smiles as he took home a trophy (Best Nett) in Division B and also prizes for both Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive. Meanwhile, the top lucky draw prize, the latest R9 Fairway Wood sponsored by MST Golf, was won by Jimmy Voon.
