Participants of Tin Cup on Tuesday, 25 August 2009 were in high spirits as they took part in a friendly game of chip and putt at Marina Bay Golf Course.
Having to complete three holes in the least number of strokes, each participant was allowed to try their hand at each hole before commencing with the game proper. Regular members injected much fun to the event as they readily mingled with the new faces, and offered putting tips after they have taken their turn. Highlight of the evening was the novelty event which saw participants gulping down a can of beer before attempting to knock down three tin cans in three long strokes. Though there was no winner for this segment, participants enjoyed themselves as they cheered one another on.
Before the light drizzle came down, participants gathered for a brief prize presentation in which Samson George emerged the overall winner, taking home a Daiwa Boston Bag. Ricky Phua came in second place and after a second competitive round, Nicholas Sze took third place. All prizes were sponsored courtesy of MST Golf.
Thank you all for your active participation and support. We hope to see you at the next event!
