OCTOBER MEDAL
PALM SPRINGS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Forty-two kakis enjoyed a leisurely golf escape to Palm
Springs Golf & Country Club at neighbouring Batam.
Upon arrival, participants were treated to breakfast
with a view; as they were seated at the Hazards
Terrace Restaurant overlooking the Singapore Strait.
It was all fun and games as golfers gleefully
participated in novelty games and posed for photos
on the golf course. The clear and sunny weather
also helped ensure good pace of play before the
participants returned for the prize presentation.

TANAH MERAH COUNTRY CLUB
Spirits were high as participants geared to tee off
at the Tampines course one last time before its
scheduled renovation. To the delight of participants,
complimentary Tiger Beer, as well as other
refreshments were provided on the course.
The merriment continued into the night, despite the
tournament being called off early due to lightning
activity. Golfers were treated to a Christmas buffet
and cheered each other as they announced the
winners to the attractive lucky draw prizes.

FEBRUARY MEDAL
KEPPEL CLUB
It was an eventful February Medal as golfers endured
intermittent showers throughout the day. Coupled with
the tight fairways of Keppel Club, it was a true challenge
of their physical and mental skills.
In spite of it all, competition was ferce with the top
golfers returning identical Stableford scores. The
winners were eventually determined by count back.
New member Noel Pollock scored an excellent total of
84 to emerge 1st runner-up, while veteran golfer Tan
Lam Hock proved age was not a barrier as he came in
to a close third.
